Slime Lab - ( Slime Making Workshop)
About This Event
DIY Slime Making Workshop
The DIY Slime Making Workshop will take place on 26 September 2026 and will welcome approximately 25 children aged 5 to 10. The session will give children the opportunity to learn how to make and customise their own slime using different colours, textures and creative materials. Each child will be able to take their finished creation home with them.
The aim of the workshop is to provide a fun, inclusive and creative activity that encourages children to explore their imagination while learning through hands on participation. The session will be designed to be affordable, safe and interactive, creating a welcoming environment where children can enjoy themselves, meet others and express their creativity. Refreshments and simple decorations will also be included.
The workshop will encourage creativity and imagination while helping children build confidence through completing a practical activity. It will also support social interaction, teamwork and communication as children share ideas and explore different ways to customise their slime. The session will promote safe working practices and encourage children to listen carefully and follow simple instructions.
By the end of the session, children will understand how to follow a simple slime recipe and safely mix the required ingredients. They will have the opportunity to experiment with different colours, textures and combinations before creating their own finished slime. Each child will leave with a slime creation they have made themselves, along with the confidence and enjoyment gained from taking part in a creative community activity.
